        Units do not matter; use same units for (w) and (h), waveport size will be in the same units as (w) and (h). The results should only be used as an estimate for the waveport size. Always perform a Solve Ports Only solution to ensure the waveport is correct. Calculation assumes that you are using a 50 Ohm microstrip transmission line.
